Happy Thanksgiving!

I really do have a lot to be thankful for this year:

I’m so thankful for my family. They support me in every single way. I wouldn’t be here without them. Not only financially, but they encourage me to try, do my best, and find what I love to do in life.

I’m thankful for my health. Surprising, I know. No matter how much pain I’m in, no matter how many sleepless nights, I know that it could always be worse. I’m not bed ridden or completely handicapped. I’m thankful for having the means and the support to get medical care when needed. I know how lucky I am.

I’m thankful for my cat. Yes, I’m totally serious. There’s nothing like the love you have for your own pet. I totally believe that animals know when your upset or sick. My cat Penny, has been by my side through some of the worst years of my life. She gives me endless love and kisses.

I’m thankful for my friends. I know I’m a difficult person to be friends with and now being across the country, it’s even harder. But I have some pretty amazing friends who really care about me, even with their busy and complicated lives.

I’m thankful for my books. Sorry, I’m still so obsessed with my bookshelves.
