Didn’t watch much this month. I need some new TV shows.

Euphoria (Season Two) – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Inventing Anna – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
For the past eight weeks, my Twitter trending topics every Sunday night have been a journey. People are quite divisive when it comes to Euphoria, this new season in particularly. It is a beautifully made show—stylistically and the acting is top notch. There are storylines and characters that I don’t care too much for and I think the writing could be stronger—after giving her so much to work with in season one, Kat is almost nonexistent. The gratuitous nudity is also getting to be way too much. However, the episode of Rue’s intervention is an incredible piece of art and taking Zendaya straight to her second Emmy. Inventing Anna was a wild ride. I had heard some of what Anna Sorokin had done, but watching the whole story unfold was a lot of funny.

I Want You Back – ⭐️⭐️⭐️
After watching Inventing Anna, I guess I needed more scamming in my life—cut to The Tinder Swindler. A documentary about a man who finds women on Tinder under the guise of being an incredibly wealth diamond heir, starts a relationship, and then eventually cons them into giving him thousands of dollars. Fascinating doc, but it’s such a crime that this guy essentially got away with everything. He now has an agent! I’m slowly making my way through the Academy Award nominated films and next up was Spencer. Happy to report that Kristen Stewart was really fantastic—never thought I would ever say that, honestly. The movie was just fine, but her performance was outstanding.
