The Disney Book Tag

When this goes up, I’ll be at Disney World with my sister! When I found this tag a little while back from Book Allure, I thought it would be perfect to set up for Tag Tuesday.

A Whole New World
A book that made you see the world differently

I’ve been trying to read more Own Voices titles. On The Come Up by Angie Thomas really gave a glimpse into poverty and the consequences of drugs; and then books like Saint and Misfits by S.K. Ali starring a Muslim teen. As well as anything by Ibi Zoboi.

Cruella de Vil
Your favorite villain

I mean she’s not my my favorite villain, but she is the scariest, and that is Professor Dolores Umbridge from Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

I Won’t Say I’m in Love
A book you didn’t want to admit you loved

Oh man. I really, truly loved The Twilight Series. I read each book numerous times, it really jumpstarted my love of reading to a whole other level. Guys, I took a trip to Forks!

Gaston
A character that you couldn’t stand

I’m having the hardest time thinking of a character that I hate that isn’t from Harry Potter.

Part of Your World
A book set in a universe you wish you could live in

hogwarts1
Harry Potter
, in a heartbeat.

A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes
Describe what the book of your dreams would be like

A romance set at a dance studio. Basically, anything having to do with dance, I’m there. Done deal.

Someday My Prince Will Come
What book character would you marry if you could?

Owen from Just Listen by Sarah Dessen

I See The Light
A book that changed your life

I would probably have to say This Lullaby by Sarah Dessen. It’s one of my all-time favorite books and once I read it, I really fell in love with reading.

When You Wish Upon a Star
A book you wish you could reread for the first time

Oh goodness, there are so many books I would want to read for the first time—obviously the Harry Potter series, but I would have to say Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell or We Were Liars by E. Lockhart.

I Just Can’t Wait to be King
Pick a book with some kind of monarchy in it

I don’t read very many books that have to do with monarchies but a book I read this year that was really fun was Prince Charming by Rachel Hawkins. I have yet to read the companion novel, Her Royal Highness, but it’s sitting on my bookshelf!

Colors of the Wind
A book with a beautiful colorful cover

There are so many books!!!! These are some faves.
