Honestly, some of my favorites of the year. I finally got to reading Red, White and Royal Blue and it did not disappoint. Also found my favorite book of the year! Sick Kids in Love absolutely blew me away. I connected to it so much—it had me so emotional to see myself and my experiences written on the page. I was pretty disappointed with Gloria Chao’s sophomore debut. I loved American Panda but I felt Our Wayward Fate was definitely a step down.
Audiobooks:
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen – ♥♥♥♥
Guys, I did it. I finally conquered my white whale. I had many false starts when picking up Pride and Prejudice, but after reading and watching so many retellings of the classic, I needed to suck up and get through it. It not like it’s bad, I love the story of it, it’s just hard sometimes to get through that style of writing. Listening to it was for the best. My Friend Anna is a very current news story about a twenty-something who scams her way through New York’s social scene.
