Such a Fun Age by Kiley Reid – ♥♥♥♥♥
Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli (re-read) – ♥♥♥♥
Heartstopper Vol.3 by Alice Oseman – ♥♥♥♥♥
A Totally Awkward Love Story by Tom Ellen and Lucy Ivison – ♥♥♥♥
If He Had Been with Me by Laura Nowlin – ♥♥♥♥♥
The Art of Losing by Lizzy Mason – ♥♥♥♥♥

The hype is real, Such a Fine Age was SO. GOOD.  When I was ten, Stargirl was one of my favorite books. Once I heard they were doing the movie for Disney+, I knew I had to re-read it beforehand. Alice Oseman’s comic Heartstopper just gets better and better. The Art of Losing was the last book I read this month and it blew me away. I just really connected to it and thought it handled talk of addiction and alcoholism really well.

The Lucky Ones by Liz Lawson – ♥♥♥♥♥
Little Universes by Heather Demetrios – ♥♥♥♥♥
Inebriated by Katey Taylor – ♥
Neon Nights by Katey Taylor – ♥
Jack Kerouac is Dead to Me by Gae Polisner – ♥♥♥♥
What I Like About You by Marisa Kanter – ♥♥♥♥♥
The Art of Remember by Alison Ragsdale – ♥♥♥♥
The Burning by Laura Bates – ♥♥♥
It Sounded Better in My Head by Nina Kenwood – ♥♥.5

Reviews for most of these to come in the month of April but a heads up—Little Universes is my favorite of the month and is definitely in my Top list of the year.

The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath (re-read) – ♥♥♥♥♥
The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood – ♥♥♥♥♥
Harbor Me by Jacqueline Woodson – ♥♥♥♥♥

I read The Bell Jar as a senior in high school and I’ve wanted to re-read it for years. Over ten years later, and I have a new appreciation for it and I love it more now. I’ve been saying for the past three years that I was going to read The Handmaid’s Tale and I finally did it! Now, I have to read the sequel…

Month #1 of self-quarantine down—let’s see how April goes!
