I love me a good summer romance. There’s a reason Sarah Dessen is of my favorite authors—she’s the queen of the summer romance! There are few things you can screw up when it comes to summer themed books, especially ones that take place in small tourist towns. Despite having all the potential in the world, When Summer Ends fell very flat.
March felt like it lasted a hundred years. By the middle of the month, I had already finished nine books. Something I’ve been seeing more and more is the adaptation of books. We all know of books that were adapted for the screen: Harry Potter, The Fault in Our Stars, Pretty Little Liars. Everything being produced nowadays seems to have sort of other source material.
