This Is Not a Dead Girl Story by Kate Sweeney – ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
Middle of the Night was a quieter story from Riley Sager. The mystery unraveled as we got more info from the two timelines—our main character Ethan is remembering more and more as we’re reading. The Reappearance of Rachel Price was really interesting and definitely not where I thought it was going. I think Holly Jackson is a dynamite mystery writer and I just love all her work. The God of the Woods was brilliantly written with short chapters and switching perspectives that made this almost 500-page book fly by. I prematurely rated Silent Sister a 3.5 and then BAM! Mega twist! That solidified a 4 stars from me. Remember when I said I would stop being influenced by the Internet? Well, I lied. I had to see what was up with Freida McFadden, and guys? I don’t get it. The Teacher sucked. The writing was juvenile and just bad.
