My very first First Lines Friday and I’m starting off pretty strong.
Honestly, I’ve been feeling a little unmotivated and uninspired lately. A lot of the posts I’ve been wanting to make, haven’t worked out. So I thought this would be something easy to post.
First Lines Friday is a way to feature your current read by posting the first line of the book. Every Friday in my timeline I see tons of these posts and I thought, why not join! This weekly post is hosted by Wandering Words.
I’m starting off with a bang! This is from Jen Deluca’s Renaissance Fair rom-com that debuted last year—Well Met I wanted to wait to read it until the summer time and until the next book came out. The companion, Well Played, comes out next month. The line is simple, but perfect:
I didn’t choose the wench life. The wench life chose me.
That’s all I need to know.
