The month where all my shows ended.
TV:

Well! It has been quite a month. We’ve got the final seasons of four shows plus a couple limited runs. We’re going to do stuff a little different this month because I just have to talk about everything I watched this month, we’ll do it with some bullet points:
- The Last Thing He Told Me – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Jennifer Garner was perfect for the role and did a good job. Stayed pretty faithful to the book and liked that they beefed up the best friend role a little more and added the scene with Bailey meeting her aunt and learning more about her mom.
- Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – a wonderful addition to the Bridgerton cannon. The exploration of the Queen’s backstory and her relationship with the King—and his mental health struggles—was really compelling.
- Grey’s Anatomy: Season 19 – ⭐️⭐️ – This may be my final season on the endless journey of Grey’s. The only people left are the people I dislike the most and I just think they really should have shut it down once Meredith peaced out.
- Yellowjackets: Season 2 – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Every episode was so stressful, my God. There isn’t much you can say without getting into spoiler category, but this show definitely lived up to its first season and I can’t wait for it to come back.
These next four shows all aired their final seasons:
- Succession: Season 4 – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Incredible. Master class in both acting and writing. Give it all the awards. Shiv Roy was the total MVP of the season. Every episode was a knockout.
- The Marvelous Mrs Maisel: Season 5 – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – This final season was just so lovely. I absolutely loved the flash forwards in the beginning of the episodes each week, giving the viewers a little glimpse into how these characters turned out. The journeys they go through in those small moments were sometimes heartbreaking—I’m looking at you, Lenny—but often times heartwarming.
- Barry: Season 4 – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – This show could have gone in so many different directions and I loved what they did in the end. Nothing like it has ever and will ever be on TV again.
- Ted Lasso: Season 3 – ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 – This season was definitely lacking. It just lost its spark a little bit. I loved the character development with Jamie Tartt and for him and Roy to find a friendship with one another. The final episode was really sweet and I think this show all around was such a positive light that premiered at the perfect time in our country. And thank God the writers decided not to let Ted and Rebecca be together. Promote more platonic love!
Movies:

Still – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
Renfield – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3 – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Michael J. Fox’s story is fascinating and this doc was put together masterfully. Even if you don’t know much about him going in, I still recommend you watch. Renfield was a ton of fun! I love watching Nicholas Hoult do anything and he does comedy like this very well. Plus, Ben Schwartz! The third and final Guardians made me weep like a little baby. A perfect bittersweet ending to a kick-ass team of misfits.
