September and October Movie/TV Wrap Up

I watched one thing in September so I decided to include it in my October Wrap Up.

TV:

Sex Education: Season Four – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
Only Murders in the Building: Season Three – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Better Things – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Minx: Season Two – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Cursed Films: Season Two – ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Party Down: Season Three – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sex Education‘s final season was a wonderful send off. I even cried towards the end! I really wish it wasn’t ending, but it’s better for it to end on a high than drag out. The third season of Only Murders in the Building brought in a lot of great supporting characters and a new setting to play around in at the theater. Plus, an asshole Paul Rudd is always fun to watch. I did a free trial for Starz just so I could watch the most recent seasons of Minx and Party Down. Excellent decision.

Movies:

Dumb Money – ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
The Ringleader: The Case of the Bling Ring – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Love at First Sight
– ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Having come from Calabasas, anything having to do with the Bling Ring, I’ll watch it. This doc was interesting because we finally heard from the true ringleader of the teen thieving group, who was completely silent throughout the entire trial. Dumb Money—about the stock market surge of GameStop during the pandemic—was a lot of fun with a great cast. Did I need to see it in theaters? Not at all. Give me a coming of age story any day of the week! Love at First Sight was really sweet with a great cast that had tremendous chemistry. And Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret made me feel all those middle school feelings that were, at the time, so all-encompassing.
