Physical:

It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover – ⭐️⭐️⭐️
It Starts with Us by Colleen Hoover -⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Secret History by Donna Tartt – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Catalina by Karla Cornejo Villavicencio – ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
Not Like Other Girls by Meredith Adamo – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
Anita de Monte Laughs Last by Xochitl Gonzalez – ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
The Champions by Kara Thomas – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Not in Love by Ali Hazelwood – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Past Present Future by Rachel Lynn Solomon – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
Not Like Other Girls by Meredith Adamo was a really strong debut—it was smart and discussed tough topics like consent with care. Jo was so real and genuine. Her relationship with Hudson—real, or otherwise—was so endearing. The Champions from Kara Thomas was the perfect kind of sequel for a book that didn’t necessarily need a sequel and I enjoyed my time back ing Sunnybrook. I need to stop getting books just because they’re hyped, case in point: Colleen Hoover books. Honestly, I read most of It Ends with Us and It Starts with Us during slow times at work—an easy way to pass the time. I can definitely admit that I went into these books with preconceived notions that probably hindered my reading experience, but they were just so very average. Past Present Future was another sequel that wasn’t needed, but it sure was wanted. I could really see myself in both Rowan and Neil’s experiences of their first year of college. The Secret History was my white whale that I finally conquered! Was it intimidating? Very. Did I understand it? Probably not everything, but it was a gripping read. I get why it’s considered a modern day classic—it just had the right vibes, you know?
eBooks:

If Something Happens to Me by Alex Finlay – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I usually see a twist come like five pages before the reveal and this was no different. I do love how Alex Finlay can lay out so many different perspectives and then pull together all of the storylines until they fit in the same world by the end of the book.
Audiobooks:

The Friday Afternoon Club by Griffin Dunne – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
High School by Tegan and Sara Quin – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The You I’ve Never Known by Ellen Hopkins – ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Hunger Makes Me a Modern Girl by Carrie Brownstein – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Wind at My Back by Misty Copeland – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Negative Spaces by Lilly Dancyger – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A few months ago, I read First Love, Lilly Dancyger’s book of essays on friendship and I really enjoyed it and her writing. Negative Spaces was her exploration of grief as she learns who her father was through his friends, colleagues, and hit art. The Friday Afternoon Club: What a family! What a story! I love books on old Hollywood, but this was so much more than celebrity name dropping—true crime, addiction, mental illness, and identity.
