I love me a good summer romance. There’s a reason Sarah Dessen is of my favorite authors—she’s the queen of the summer romance! There are few things you can screw up when it comes to summer themed books, especially ones that take place in small tourist towns. Despite having all the potential in the world, When Summer Ends fell very flat.

I don’t think I’ve ever been so upset by an awards season as I am this year. Awards season is usually my favorite time of year—so many new movies out in the theaters, spending award shows on the couch with my family as we try to guess the winners. Goals for the New Year 2019
2018 was the best year I’ve had in quite awhile. My health wasn’t the best, but it didn’t completely fall apart like it has the past few years. I managed to stick to some of the goals I set for myself at the beginning of the year, which is pretty incredible, especially when it comes to my usual track record. I used to make resolutions every year but I rarely ever stuck with them. This was the first year that I feel like I actually showed some growth. By calling them goals, I feel like there isn’t as much pressure and I think that’s why I was much more successful. Anticipated Movies/Television of 2019
Apparently, 2019 is going to be dominated by Disney and Marvel, but what else is new? Basically, this is going to be one hell of a year when it comes to movies. TV is another story.
