I’m such a massive fan of the poetry collections by Amanda Lovelace, but I think Shine Your Icy Crown is my new favorite. There are so many passages that I really connected with and I highly recommend both books in the “Women Are Some Kind of Magic” series.

Audiobooks:

I Want to Be Where the Normal People Are by Rachel Bloom – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Shiny Broken Pieces by Sona Charaipotra & Dhonielle Clayton
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

I’m a massive fan of the Duplass Brothers from Mark on The League, Jay on Transparent, and both of their work on The Mindy Project, plus all their own movies from their production company. Listening to their book was such a delight. It’s comprised of emails, stories, advice, and conversations between the brothers as they talk about their lives growing up and incredible bond they have with one another. Highly, highly recommend.

Because February is Black History Month, I’m all my reading picks come from black authors Preferably, of the romance variety….
