Something I’ve been seeing more and more is the adaptation of books. We all know of books that were adapted for the screen: Harry Potter, The Fault in Our Stars, Pretty Little Liars. Everything being produced nowadays seems to have sort of other source material. It’s almost getting out of hand, but that doesn’t stop me from seeing the movie/watching the show/reading the books.

So this should have gone up in August, but with the stress of packing and moving, it’s only getting up now.
Apparently, 2018 is the year of the YA adaptations, and for the most part they have been pretty incredible. Love, Simon set the precedent, after years of mediocre adaptations that established a stereotype when it comes to this “genre” of movie.
