October: The Month of Spooks!
I don’t do spooky. I don’t do scary. Gremlins fucked me up as a kid, my scare tolerance is that low. I can go for weird or thriller, but if anyone gets split in half or jumps out at me, I’m out of there.

Hello! Pop culture and entertainment rule my life. I decided that it would be fun to do a little recap of all the media I consumed each month:Continue reading “Monthly Entertainment Recap: August”
Summer Book Series Vol. 3
There’s still a month left of summer (only a month?!?) and I wanted to do one last entry in my Summer Book Series. There’s not much of a theme for this summer list, but I did try to not feature books that I’ve previously posted about on here before. I live vicariously through these characters because I’ve never had the luxury to go on these kind of trips. Most of these type of books are set during the summer because what time is more alluring than the three months that make up a summer vacation. The sun stays out longer, the heat burning your skin as you travel through unknown territory—it just screams adventure and possibility. So! Here are a few of my favorite YA Summer Travel Recommendations:
Save the Date Review
THIS BOOK! Morgan Matson’s writing is just getting better and better. Her newest novel, Save the Date, takes place over a weekend in April, centering around a boisterous and semi-famous family.
Summer Book Series Vol. 1
For the next two months, I’m going to try to only read books that have to do with summer or take place in the summertime. I did this last year as well and really enjoyed it. I thought that I would make a few different posts throughout this summer, highlighting some of my favorite summer books.
