October Movie/TV Wrap Up

I wasn’t in the mood for any spooky movies. Just want to skip to Christmastime.

Television:

101 Ways to Party Before You Die – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
New Girl
: Season One (rewatch) – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I hope Adam Pally and Jon Gabrus get to do this travel show for many years to come. They are such funny comedians and seeing them out of their element was so much fun. I’m using all the strength I have to SLOWLY do a New Girl rewatch to line up with the watch along podcast Hannah, Lamorne, and Zooey are doing. Season one is so excellent and makes me feel so good.

Movies:

Don’t Worry Darling – ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Fresh – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
Look Both Ways – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
See How They Run – ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Luckiest Girl Alive – ⭐️⭐️

Don’t Worry Darling had wonderful performances but poorly put together. You really felt how long it was—could have easily cut a good 45 min. I really wanted See How They Run to be better because Sam Rockwell and Saoirse Ronan are two of my favorite actors. It felt lackluster and would have been better in another filmmaker’s hands. Two other wonderful actors, Daisy Edgar Jones and Sebastian Stan were wonderful in Fresh. I hope more people find it on Hulu because it was a wild and unexpected ride.
