Apparently, 2019 is going to be dominated by Disney and Marvel, but what else is new? Basically, this is going to be one hell of a year when it comes to movies. TV is another story. Some shows are premiering new seasons, some are airing their finales, and a few debuts I’m really excited about.

So this should have gone up in August, but with the stress of packing and moving, it’s only getting up now.
Apparently, 2018 is the year of the YA adaptations, and for the most part they have been pretty incredible. Love, Simon set the precedent, after years of mediocre adaptations that established a stereotype when it comes to this “genre” of movie.
Eighth Grade and the Genius of Bo Burnham
Bo Burnham is one of my all-time favorite comedians. A friend of mine in college played me some of his songs and I was instantly hooked. I couldn’t believe someone just under a year older than me could make such smart and relatable comedy. He completely rock my world.

When I first saw the trailer of Hearts Beat Loud, I knew I would enjoy it. I just didn’t know I was going to love it as much as I did. A music-centric coming-of-age story centered around a father and daughter.
Avengers: Infinity War
I’ve had a few days to process, but I don’t think I’ll ever fully get over my feelings about Avengers: Infinity War. Let’s just say, the last 15 minutes my mouth was wide open and tears silently fell down my face. Now I’m not going to get into any spoilers because that would be mean and hurtful to the people who haven’t had the chance to see it opening weekend, but I would like to talk about a few things.
