I didn’t get to read as many Pride books as I wanted this month, but I think I’m finally getting out on the other side of this reading slump.
My return to a movie theater!
Oh springtime! The birds are chirping, the flowers are blooming, and books are falling out of the sky!
Queer books all around!
I still want to be highlighting Black authors and Black stories, but because it’s also Pride month. So let’s get queer up in here!
When I was going through my Goodreads of 2020 releases, I got very overwhelmed. And when you think about it, not everything has even been announced yet. So I decided to break up my anticipated reads in three month increments. Now, these aren’t all the books coming out that I’m interested in, just my favorites—the top tier, if you will.
June is Pride Month! I did a post last year of some of my favorite LGBTQ+ reads and this time around, I thought that I would help jumpstart your summer TBR lists with specific summer LGBTQ+ BOOKS. Everyone has been making this post lately, but I thought I would add some of my favorites.
I rarely ever do monthly TBR’s. I might have a few books in my head that I want to read over the month, but I almost never actually stick to that imaginary list. However, I’m really trying to accomplish some reading goals over the summer.
